Randy Lane wins the Chairman’s Club advertising award

Kevin S. McClatchy, Chairman of the Board of The McClatchy Co., recognized the outstanding leadership and individual excellence within the sales departments and announced the 10 inaugural winners of the Chairman’s Club advertising award.

The Kansas City Star is proud to announce that Randy Lane was one of this year’s winners.

Randy leads The Star’s Sunday Select, TMC, Print & Deliver, and insert programs, which are some of the strongest not only within McClatchy but within our entire industry. His colleagues swear you will never find Randy in a foul mood and that he is the most positive person in the building.

Winners receive a crystal trophy, a cash prize and lunch with Kevin McClatchy in Sacramento following the company’s annual meeting of shareholders in the spring.
